About

Mikaela (Kayla) Falk works as a product manager at IBM in the Watson Health unit, creating Population Health software for US hospital systems. She is a recent graduate of Duke University, where she studied Public Policy and Global Health, led project development at Duke OIT's Innovation Lab and co-founded a social enterprise recognized by USAID.

She is passionate about innovation in health and wellness, working to research and design new policies, technologies and ideas to improve lives. She is particularly fascinated by the potential of integrative healing practices and spirituality to help improve chronic disease and mental health, bringing about greater happiness and well-being.

Outside of her day job, she is a passionate photographer and a registered 200-hour Yoga Teacher. Her camera and yoga practice are constantly introducing her to new people, ideas, and a deeper connection with our world. She loves spreading Eastern healing practices by teaching free yoga classes in IBM offices across NYC.
